Getting Here and Getting Around

Lincolnshire, situated 30 miles north of downtown Chicago, is bordered by Vernon Hills to the North, Riverwoods to the south, Bannockburn and Lake Forest to the east, and Buffalo Grove to the west. It takes approximately 30 minutes to drive to O'Hare Airport and about 60 minutes to Midway Airport when traffic is light. The Tri-State Tollway (I-294) is on the eastern border of the Village (North takes you to Wisconsin and South to Chicago/Indiana) and has a full interchange at Route 22.

PACE Bus Rush Service:

Pace Route 12 (Also known as Rt. 622) - Operates between Deerfield Metra Station, Bannockburn Lakes Office Park and Hewitt Associates' East Campus.

Pace Route 576 - Operates between the Deerfield Metra Station, Buffalo Grove and Hewitt Associates' West Campus.

Pace Route 581-Operates between the Buffalo Grove Metra Station, Hewitt Associates' 475 Bond Street building and West Campus, Quill, Acco, and other employers in Lincolnshire and Buffalo Grove in the Millbrook Business Center.

PACE BUS Regular Service:

Pace Route 272 - Operates Monday through Saturday between Hawthorn Shopping Center in Vernon Hills and Golf Mill Shopping Center in Niles. Weekday service in Lincolnshire operates via Milwaukee Ave, Tower Parkway and Barclay Blvd. Rush hour service is available to the Buffalo Grove Metra (North Central
Line) Station. Saturday servce operates between Hawthorn Shopping Center and Golf Mill via Milwaukee Ave.

Pace Route 626 - Operates between the Skokie CTA Station, Lake-Cook Metra Station in Deerfield and the Lincolnshire Corporate Center.

Metra Commuter Rail System:

Metra's Milwaukee District North Line from Deerfield station gets commuters to downtown Union Station in about 45 minutes. The Deerfield station is at 850 Deerfield Road (2 blocks West of Waukegan Road.)

Metra's North Central Service from Prairie View and Buffalo Grove Stations currently are served by nine inbound and ten outbound trains each weekday. Trains arrive at Union Station in approximately one hour and to O'Hare Airport in 20-25 minutes. Destinations served by the North Central Line include O'Hare Airport and downtown Chicago. The Prairie View station is located at 16480 West Route 22. The Buffalo Grove Station is located at 825 Commerce Court.
